However, for the most authentic texture reminiscent of real asphalt, a textured PEI print surface is your best bet when printing.

  • Printing Recommendations: To guarantee the best quality and texture, it's advised to print this model faced down. This ensures a smoother finish, reducing post-production work.

Recommended Material: PLA

  2. Tree Supports Enabled (adjust XY distance and Z distance as needed)
  3. Build plate adhesion brim
  4. Infill >= 20%
  5. Layer height - Between 0.15mm and 0.2mm
  6. Print flat
  7. Print road surface face down

Print considerations: This product does not require support material and can be printed at 0.2mm layer height. It should be orientated face down.

Finishing: This product can be directly printed onto a PEI textured print surface in the desired colour filament (grey, black etc). Matte filaments also produce great results. The product can left as-is, painted or a textured surface can be affixed to the product. 1000 grit sand paper which can be painted makes for a good surface texture if you don't have access to a PEI print surface.
